I've made this mirror with a hard to find wood called "Curly Cherry." Curly cherry is the fancy, crazy grained wood hand selected and separated from the rest of the wood. Very few if any boards come from any 1 log.
If you can purchase one of these mirrors, hang on to it. You won't find many like!!
I have used mortise and tenon joinery and added black walnut round pegs to give it strength and character. The stain I have chosen for this piece is called "Colonial Maple" but can use the stain of your choice.
