Probably one of the most enjoyable mirrors I have built. A little ingenuity when cutting the angles on the wedge shaped walnut made for a very solid perfect fit to the quarter-sawn white oak. You'll see what I mean when you look at the close up photo.
Charles Limbert would be proud of this one. He was an artisan at the turn of the century who incorporated angles into his work. I used quarter-sawn white oak and walnut on this design and stained it using several hand-rubbed coats of a minwax English Chestnut. Then I sprayed it using several coats of a satin shellac. This is a one of a kind piece that will stand out and draw attention in any room it is put in. You will never really own this mirror, you will simply cherrish it for the next generation!
